Radiant Dragons may look real, but they're hand-made pieces of art. Each Dragon starts out as an original sculpture, which I sculpted in Zbrush and printed on my Resin Printer in translucent resin. These pieces are each lovingly hand-painted with inks and acrylics in great detail to give them the appearance of a real little creature. The paint is carefully placed to allow light to shine from within the dragon when lit from below. They are given several coats of varnish to protect the paint.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Radiant Dragons are hollow on the inside to accommodate an LED candle. They are NOT FOR USE WITH REAL FLAME CANDLES. They are ONLY to be used with LED light sources. Most of the photos were taken with the LED in place.
About the Dragon Nest
The Dragon comes complete with a battery-operated LED candle and a Dragon Nest. The candle fits into the nest, and the dragon sits on top. This nest will be cast in resin, painted in shades of grey, and given several coats of varnish. It will be accented with moss to give it a realistic appearance. The nest conceals the bottom of the candle, and blocks light from leaking at the bottom of the dragon. Without the nest, the bottom of the LED candle will be visible. This candle will ship WITHOUT the required CR2032 button battery (due to shipping regulations). You will have to purchase a battery separately.

Caring for Radiant Dragons
These pieces are not toys, but rather works of art, and they should be treated as such. Although they've been given several coats of varnish, they aren't waterproof, and shouldn't be submerged or left in damp places for prolonged periods (a quick photo will be fine though!).
The photos are for reference only, the exact piece you receive will be different, because they are all hand-made. There may be small imperfections, but they add the the unique character of the piece.
