Shipping Poll

    I am considering making a significant change to the way I do shipping. I have access to a USPS shipping service, which can ship at a lower cost  than Canada Post. This means that I could lower shipping prices. HOWEVER, it is a 45 minute drive each way to drop off parcels, so I could only ship once every 2 weeks or so. This means a longer processing time, but much cheaper shipping.

    Pros
    • Shipping will cost you 50% less on average.
    • All shipping will be fully tracked to the US, even the cheapest available shipping option.
    • Tracked shipping will be 70% cheaper to international customers. 
    • Actual shipping time will be faster to the US. 

    Cons
    • I'll burn through a lot of gas getting to and from the drop-off spot, so I won't be able to ship as often.
    • You may have to wait 1-2 weeks for your item to ship, instead of 5 business days. 
    • The cheapest tracked shipping will be slightly slower to international locations (but will be 70% cheaper).
